Faculty of Theology and Religion, University of Oxford - Squire and Marriott Bursaries

General Description

For students of the Faculty of Theology and Religion the Board of the Faculty has decided to award 2 Squire and Marriott Bursaries for the applicants who fulfill the criteria. The value of the bursaries is determined by the Board of the Faculty. These bursaries are tenable at any college or hall in the University.

Requirements

One of the most important requirements is that applicants must have the intention of offering themselves for ordination in the Church of England or any church in the communion. They also must be in need of financial assistance for their university education. That is why the candidates will be required to provide a record of their university adherents and evidence of their financial need. They also need to present testimonials about their character and ability. The commission will organize interviews with the candidates before the final decision is made.
