General Description
Graduate students in chemistry, biochemistry or related disciplines can apply for a fully funded DPhil in Cardiovascular Medical Chemistry. The aim is to support those disciplines and improve the student’s skills in order to advance cardiovascular research and treatment. This scholarship is funded by the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence. It covers 4 years of studying, 1 year of research and 3 years of DPhil.
Requirements
The only requirement for this scholarship is that the programmes must be conducted under joint supervision. That supervision is by a chemist and a biologist at the interface of Chemistry/Cardiovascular Science.
