Postgrad Solutions Study Bursaries

You will receive a one-off grant of bursary of about 2,300 EUR (2,000 GBP) towards your postgraduate studies. You may use this towards tuition fees or living costs. Five scholarships are awarded per round. The funding is provided in addition to any other financial support you may already be receiving, so an existing scholarship does not constitute a ground for exclusion. The scholarships are provided by Postgrad Solutions, a UK-based online portal for postgraduate programmes.

Who can apply

• Study level: You are either just starting a postgraduate course or are already studying for one. It does not matter what type of course you are taking – for example, a Master’s degree, an MBA, an LLM, a PhD, a postgraduate diploma or a postgraduate certificate.
• Admission: You have accepted a place on a postgraduate programme.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• University: Any university, anywhere in the world.
• Nationality: Any country.
• Study mode: Full-time, part-time, a combination of both, or online distance learning – it all counts.
• Age: No age limit.

How to apply

Complete the online form at postgrad.com; this takes around 20 minutes. You will also need to write a 200-word essay explaining why you should be awarded the scholarship. The application deadline is 30 September, and you may only apply once. The successful candidates will take part in a short telephone and video interview with the scholarship team.

How realistic are your chances?

Almost anyone can apply, as all countries, subjects and universities are eligible. However, as there are only five scholarships available, the field of applicants is large and competition is fierce. The decision depends solely on your 200-word text, not on your grades or your university. A clear, convincing explanation of why you need the money is crucial – so focus on this short text.
