ISCTE Business School Excellence Awards for undergraduate and master students

What you get

These awards recognise the top-performing students at ISCTE Business School with a reduction in tuition fees. Master’s students can also win a cash prize of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 EUR. The university is part of ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute in Lisbon, Portugal. There are two categories: ‘TOP IBS’ for Bachelor’s programmes and ‘TOP Masters’ for Master’s programmes. In Portugal, marks are awarded on a scale of 20.

The following applies to Bachelor’s students: First-year students with a grade of 17.5 or higher who have listed ISCTE as their first choice study free of charge. Students who are already in their first or second year of study and have a grade of 15.5 or higher also study free of charge.

The following applies to Master’s students: First-year students with a grade point average of 16 study free of charge. A grade point average of 15 entitles the student to a discount of 66%, and a grade point average of 14 entitles the student to a discount of 33%. The top Master’s graduate from each degree programme also receives a cash prize every December at a ceremony.

Who can apply

• Level: You are studying at ISCTE Business School or are applying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme there.
• Where you study: You are studying at ISCTE Business School in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Field of study: All business and management degree programmes at the university.
• Grades: As this is a performance-based grant, the amount of your discount depends on your academic performance. It starts at 14/20 for a Master’s degree programme and at 15.5/20 for a Bachelor’s degree programme.
• First choice (undergraduates): To receive the full discount for the first year of study, ISCTE must be your first choice for higher education.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via ISCTE Business School. The award of the scholarship is based on your grades. There is no separate selection process, provided that the minimum requirements set out above are met.
