About this scholarship

Higher Education Scholarship from the Municipality of Águeda

You will receive 1,500 EUR per year, paid in 10 monthly instalments of 150 EUR, to study at any higher education institution in Portugal. The funding is provided by Águeda Town Council (Câmara Municipal de Águeda). The grant covers the official duration of your studies plus one additional year for degree programmes lasting up to 3 years, or plus two additional years for degree programmes lasting 4 years or more. You renew the grant each year by providing proof that you are still enrolled and continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The amount may increase in line with the rate of inflation. For 2025/2026, the local authority has awarded 40 grants.
