About this scholarship

What the Montemor-o-Novo higher education scholarship gives you

You will receive a monthly scholarship, paid from October to July of the academic year, amounting to 10 instalments. It is intended to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, tuition fees and other fees charged by the institution. The amount is determined individually for each student each year. In the period 2022/2023, it ranged from 50 EUR to 160 EUR per month, with a total budget of 96,350 EUR distributed amongst 102 students. The funding comes from the Montemor-o-Novo City Council (Câmara Municipal de Montemor-o-Novo). It is means-tested, meaning that the amount you receive depends on your household income.
