University of the Algarve - UAlgESGHT Merit Award

Benefit

You will receive a merit-based scholarship to cover your tuition fees (tuition fees) for a Master’s or postgraduate programme at the Faculty of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT) at the University of the Algarve in Faro, Portugal. It is aimed at students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with excellent grades. The scholarship is valid for the entire duration of the programme you are enrolled on.

Eligibility

• Degree you start: You are enrolling for the first time on one of ESGHT’s Master’s programmes (Hotel Management, Taxation, SME Management, Human Resources Management or Tourism) or on the postgraduate programme in ‘Digital Marketing’.
• Your previous degree: You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree (Licenciatura) from the University of the Algarve.
• Grades: Your final average mark for your Bachelor’s degree is at least 16 on the Portuguese scale ranging from 0 to 20, as evidenced by an official document.
• No debts: You have no outstanding tuition fees, taxes or other charges at the University of the Algarve.
• Full course ahead of you: You have not yet been awarded any credits for the entire teaching component of the degree programme, nor have you been granted equivalent recognition.
• First-time enrolment: This is not a repeat application, a repeat registration or a partial registration.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

You apply when you enrol on your Master’s or postgraduate programme at the ESGHT. Please submit your official Bachelor’s certificate or diploma as proof of your grade. The application deadline is 22 July.
