About this scholarship
University of Verona international Master's scholarships
You will receive a full scholarship worth approximately 421 EUR per month for an international Master’s programme at the University of Verona. This includes a place in an ESU student hall of residence, full exemption from tuition fees, and one free meal per day in the university canteen. You will still be required to pay a small regional fee and a stamp duty of approximately 192 EUR per year. The University of Verona funds this every year. In the 2026/2027 intake, there are 15 full scholarships and 48 places with reduced fees (a flat-rate contribution towards your tuition fees). One degree programme, ‘International Economics and Business’, offers two-year scholarships of 8,000 EUR instead, which can be combined with the fee waiver. As a rule, you cannot combine this scholarship with other university scholarships.

How to apply
You must apply via the University of Verona’s online form within the application deadline. For the 2026/2027 academic year, this was 31 March 2026; please use this as a guide for future application rounds. Your programme coordinator will first check whether you meet the entry requirements. A selection panel will then assess each valid application. You need at least 60 out of 100 points to qualify, and places will be awarded to the applicants with the highest scores. In the event of a tie, the younger applicant will be given priority.
How realistic are your chances?
The prize is awarded to graduates applying for one of the international Master’s programmes in Verona. As 15 full scholarships and 48 places with reduced fees are spread across numerous subject areas, the level of competition depends on your specific programme. Good academic performance and a language certificate submitted in good time offer a well-suited applicant strong prospects.
