General Description
University College Birmingham (UCB) offers applicants who have a high competence in sport the Sporting Excellence Scholarship. There are six available each year. The scholarship is made up of monetary and non-monetary elements. This includes free access to sports therapy expertise and clinics, a tuition fee discount of up to £1,000 that is applied to each year of study, and an additional amount of £500 to assist with travelling expenses to training.
Requirements
Only students in full-time taught programmes at UCB are considered for this scholarship. Applicants are not eligible if they have already been enrolled on the programme. The same applies for those who are on a FdA programme with a history of having previously been enrolled on such programme. The Sporting Excellence Scholarships is solely intended for applicants who have not received any other form of scholarship from UCB.
