About this scholarship
General Description
The University of Portsmouth is proud to have been awarded the Buttle UK Quality Mark for Care Leavers. The university was honored with this award because of its commitment to assist those from low-income backgrounds. An applicant must have spent time in care or have been looked after by a local authority. The bursary totals £1,600. Students that receive it also get access to a Personal Support Finance Advisor. The advisor helps the student throughout their time at the University.
Requirements
All applicants must be new or continuing students at the University of Portsmouth. They must also have been in care or looked after by a local authority in order to be eligible.
