European Union - Erasmus Mundus Action 2 : ACTIVE - Atlantic Caucasus Technical universities Initiative for Valuable Education

General Description

The ACTIVE project is a part of the European vision of introducing former countries of Soviet Union. It aims to launch a research and educational network to comprise HEIs from the European Union, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is focused on the fields of technology and engineering. There are more than 200 scholarships with period of 1-36 months depending on mobility type or academic level. Undergraduates, masters, PhDs, post-doctorate students and academic staff are eligible for applying.

Requirements

Academic staff and students from the European Union, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan can be awarded scholarships. Undergraduates must have completed minimum one year of studies at the first higher education level. Applicants must have finished four years of studies at the university or equivalent for Bachelor’s degree. PhD applicants have to have finished master’s level degree. Post-doctoral applicants must have finished a third cycle study.
