General Description

The Journalism Programme-Internship Grants for Students of Journalism are funded by the La Caixa Foundation and EFE News Agency. There are 15 grants available. The grants are for graduate students of Journalism and Audio-visual Communication. The grants are to be used for an 18-month internship at the EFE News Agency. The first 9 months will be spent in EFE’s Spanish offices; the second nine months will be spent in EFE’s international offices.

Requirements

The applicants must have the Spanish nationality. Final year student must not have more than 30 points of their course left to complete. The applicant must have perfect Spanish, good knowledge of English, and good knowledge of any local language relevant to the international office where the successful applicant will be stationed. While receiving this scholarship the beneficiary will not be allowed to receive any other scholarship or form of financial aid.
