About this scholarship
General Description
The World Bank has established the Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program to provide support to young researchers working in academic and research institutions from eligible countries and preparing a doctoral thesis. A maximum of 25000 US dollars (currently about 18400 euro) can be awarded; funding will be provided for 5 to 10 months to work in a renowned university or research center.Requirements
Eligible candidates are required to be working on a doctoral thesis. They are evaluated by external reviewers based on three criteria: academic performance, teaching and research experience, and relevance of the proposed research program.
