Associate Professor Hender and Wife's Scholarship Fund

Upon completing your schooling, you will receive a one-off payment of 9,000 DKK (about 1,200 EUR). This is a one-off grant, not a monthly allowance. The school will present you with the amount at the graduation ceremony (Dimission). Kalundborg Gymnasium og HF manages the fund itself, and the money is intended to help you make the transition to university.

Who can apply

• School: You are due to graduate this year from Kalundborg Gymnasium og HF, either as part of the upper secondary programme (Studentereksamen) or the HF programme.
• Age: You are under 22 when you graduate.
• Next step: You intend to obtain a professional qualification (embedseksamen) at a Danish university or a similar higher education institution. You should clearly set out these plans in your application.
• Financial need: You can provide evidence of your financial situation and demonstrate that you need support.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality may apply, provided they have graduated from this school.

How to apply

Write a short letter to the foundation’s board (legatbestyrelse) explaining the reasons for your application. Enclose a financial plan setting out your financial situation. Submit the documents to the school office by 12 June at the latest. Only graduates from the current academic year are eligible to apply.
