General Description

The Johanna Prey Foundation created this scholarship to support scientific Alzheimer research. Therefore the foundation grants monthly installments to suitable Doctorate students working on their dissertation at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. The installment pays 1.000€ per month. The support duration is one year and can be extended for one more year.

Requirements

The dissertation should focus on early detection, prevention or treatment methods of dementia, especially Alzheimer. Applicants may only be presented in the beginning stage of the dissertation. Extraordinary academic performance is a pre-requisite in order to be considered.
