General Description

The Friedrich-Ebert foundation awards scholarships to foreign students who are studying at a public or officially recognized University. The funding amounts to 1000€ per month for doctoral candidates. With the scholarship the Friedrich-Ebert foundation wants to make studying in Germany possible for foreigners who came here to study and do research. In addition to the financial side, students are also granted access to the ideational side with a broad range of seminar offers and social engagement.

Requirements

Foreign Students and doctoral candidate of all subjects, except medicine who study at a German University and can speak German are welcome to apply, if they have outstanding academic achievements and a have quickly obtained their degree. The planned dissertation must also promise a considerable contribution to research.
