General Description

The University of Siegen and the August von Platen Foundation promotes literary works that are related to homosexuality and literature. For this purpose, the Foundation provides scholarships for relevant scientific works in the field of general literature, English, German studies and the Romance ready. The scholarship amounts to 500 euros per month and is given for a period of 12 months.

Requirements

Students at the University of Siegen studying literature and linguistics in the art and are planning to work in the fields of general literature, English, German or Romance languages​​, can apply for the scholarship. Candidates must present a scientific paper that meets the objectives of the foundation. Funding is open for literary works exploring the connection between homosexuality and literature.
