What you get

You get a yearly grant of 1,461 to 7,171 EUR from ADISURC, the regional student-aid body of Campania in southern Italy. The exact amount depends on your family income and on how far you live from your university. Students living away from home get up to 7,171 EUR, commuters up to 4,191 EUR, and students living at home up to 2,890 EUR plus one free meal a day. The lower your income, the higher your grant. You get 15% more if your family income (ISEE) is 12,750 EUR or less, and 20% more if you are a woman in a STEM course. The grant is tax-free, and you also get your tuition fees refunded. In the same application you can request a place in a university residence and a monthly top-up of up to 600 EUR for a study period abroad, plus 100 EUR travel money for Europe or 500 EUR for destinations outside Europe.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolled, or plan to enrol, at a recognised university, academy or music conservatory in the Campania region, such as Federico II in Naples, the University of Salerno or the Naples Fine Arts Academy.
• Level: You study a bachelor's, single-cycle or master's degree, a first- or second-level academic diploma, a mandatory professional specialisation school (except medical ones), or a doctorate not already funded under the national D.M. 224/1999 scheme.
• Field of study: Any subject at these institutions.
• Financial need: Your family income indicator (ISEE) is 25,500 EUR or less, and your asset indicator (ISPE) is 54,000 EUR or less. If your family lives abroad, you use the equivalent "parified" ISEE.
• Grades: First-year students need no credits when applying, but must earn a set number of course credits (CFU) during the year. Students in later years must already have reached a credit target that rises each year. If you have a disability, these credit requirements drop by 40%.
• Age: No age limit.
• Nationality: Italian and international students can both apply.

How to apply

You apply online through the student area on the ADISURC website. Italian adults log in with SPID or CIE; minors and foreign students use accreditation credentials. For the 2026/2027 year the deadline is 12:00 on 10 September 2026. The grant is assigned automatically from your application, but you must tick the residence place and the study-abroad top-up separately in the same form.

How realistic are your chances?

This is Campania's main student-aid programme, so it funds many students each year, but places are limited and income and credit rules decide who is in. If you study at an eligible institution, your family income is under the ISEE ceiling, and you meet the credit target for your year, your prospects are solid. Get your income declaration (DSU) signed in good time and apply before the September deadline.
