About this scholarship
MOBINT-MIF grant (Modalidad A, Erasmus+)
You get 200 EUR per month for up to 6 months, so 1,200 EUR at most, to help pay for a study exchange abroad. If your host is a university in the French region of Occitania, you receive an extra one-off 600 EUR. The grant comes from AGAUR, the university funding agency of the Catalan regional government. It covers stays under Erasmus+ and its associated countries: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Faroe Islands, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City.
Who can apply
- Where you study: You are enrolled at a university in Catalonia in an official bachelor's or master's degree, in the 2024-2025 year and for the whole time you receive the grant.
- Your exchange: Your university has selected you for an in-person Erasmus+ exchange that counts towards your degree. The stay takes place between June 2025 and October 2026.
- Nationality: You are Spanish or a citizen of an EU country. Non-EU citizens need a Spanish residence permit dated by 31 December 2024.
- Credits: You have passed at least 60 ECTS credits by the time you apply, unless your degree makes the exchange compulsory.
- Grades: Your average is at least 5.70 for engineering and architecture, or 6.30 for all other fields. For master's students, the average of the bachelor's degree that gave access counts.
- Language: You hold a B2 (B2.2) certificate in English, French, German or Italian. If your host teaches in another language, you also need B2 in that language, unless it is an official language of Catalonia.
- First time only: You have never received a MOBINT grant before.
How to apply
You apply online only, through the form on the Catalan government's electronic office. You need a digital certificate such as idCAT or an electronic ID. The window for 2025-2026 ran from 31 October to 28 November 2025 and has now closed. You can apply only once during your studies and for one modality.
How realistic are your chances?
Meeting the requirements does not guarantee the grant. Applications are scored, mainly on grades, with points for languages and credits. The highest scores get funded first, until the budget runs out. If your average sits comfortably above the minimum and you have a strong language certificate, your prospects are good, since the field is limited to Catalan students already selected for Erasmus+.
