About this scholarship

What the Neaveth Fund gives you

The Neaveth Fund provides Hungarian students at the University of London with additional financial support beyond the funding to which they are already entitled. This support is referred to as a scholarship, i.e. a grant that does not need to be repaid. The University of London administers the fund, which was established through a donation for students of Hungarian nationality. The money originally came from Hungary and was transferred to the UK in 1938. The sources do not specify a fixed amount or a funding period, as the support is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Who can apply

  • Nationality: You are a Hungarian national.
  • University: You are studying at one of the University of London’s member institutions or at the School of Advanced Study.
  • Financial need: Your university or faculty has already determined that, in accordance with the usual regulations, you are eligible for a scholarship.
  • Field of study: Any topic is fine.

How to apply

You cannot apply for funding from this fund yourself. Please contact your own department or faculty; they will then apply for funding from the fund on your behalf. There is no published deadline.
