About this scholarship
Vice Chancellor's International Student Scholarship
You will receive a one-off grant of about 5,900 EUR (5,000 GBP), which will be deducted directly from your tuition fees. The University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom awarded this grant to international students commencing a Master’s programme involving lectures and coursework (a postgraduate programme with lectures and coursework rather than pure research). This was the largest of the university’s three international Master’s scholarships, and only three were awarded.
Who can apply
- Level: You are starting a full-time postgraduate (Master’s) programme at the University of Plymouth.
- Offer in hand: If you are applying, you have already received a conditional offer of a place on this degree programme.
- Grades: You hold a first-class honours degree or an equivalent qualification from your home country in a relevant subject area.
- Where you come from: You are an international (non-EU) student.
- Field of study: Open to all subjects.
How to apply
Please complete the scholarship application form and email it, together with your supporting documents, to the University’s International Scholarships Office. The application deadline is 30 June.
How realistic are your chances?
There were only three of these scholarships available, and to be eligible you need not only excellent grades but also a place at university – so the bar is set high and the competition is fierce. If your grades are top-class and you meet the entry requirements for the Master’s programme, it is worth applying, but view it as a highly competitive process rather than a sure thing. Submit your application form well in advance of the deadline to stay in the running.
