About this scholarship
SCVE research grant
You get a research grant to fund your research project in vascular and endovascular surgery, which is surgery of the blood vessels, including minimally invasive treatments done inside the vessels. The amount is not published. The grant comes from the Société de Chirurgie Vasculaire et Endovasculaire de Langue Française (SCVE), the French-speaking professional society for this field. Grants are awarded each year at the society's annual congress, during the awards session ("Remise des Prix").
Who can apply
- Field: You work in vascular and endovascular surgery.
- Career stage: You are a young vascular surgeon, for example still in specialist training or shortly after finishing it.
- Project: You have a research project the grant will help fund.
- Language: You work in French, the society's working language.
How realistic are your chances?
This grant is aimed at a narrow group: young surgeons in one specialty who have a concrete research project. That keeps the applicant pool small compared with open scholarships. If you clearly fit that specialty and career stage and can present a solid project, your prospects are good.
