What you get

You get a full waiver of your tuition fees for the whole two-year on-campus Master's at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in the Netherlands. The fee for non-EU/EFTA students is about 21,900 EUR per year, so the waiver saves you roughly 43,800 EUR over 24 months. The waiver does not cover living costs, health and liability insurance, your residence permit or travel. After you accept, WUR sends you an adjusted first-year bill of about 16,500 EUR for these remaining costs, which you pay before 1 July 2027.

Who can apply

• Nationality: You hold the nationality of one of these countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom or the United States. If you also hold an EU or EFTA nationality, you cannot apply.
• Degree: You finish a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) before 1 December 2026 and upload the diploma with your application.
• Grades: You have a GPA of at least 80%, equal to a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree.
• Admission: You are unconditionally admitted to an eligible on-campus Master's at WUR. Online and double-degree programmes do not count.
• English: You upload your official English test results before 1 December 2026.
• Start date: You begin your Master's in September 2027. This is the only intake covered.
• New students only: You are a prospective student. Students already enrolled at WUR cannot apply.

How to apply

You do not apply for the scholarship directly. Instead, submit a complete Master's application through Studielink and the Osiris portal before 1 December 2026, with all documents included. A selection committee reviews the applications. Around March to April 2027, it emails a shortlist. The final recipients are then chosen by lottery among that shortlist, with offers made on 7 April 2027.

How realistic are your chances?

The final winners are drawn by lottery, so even a strong application cannot guarantee the waiver. Meeting the requirements is what gets you into the draw. The 80% GPA bar and the need for unconditional admission already narrow the pool, and only applicants from the listed countries who do not also hold EU/EFTA nationality qualify. Submit a complete application well before the December deadline, because late applications are not considered at all.
