University of Skövde Travel Grant scholarship

You receive a one-off travel grant of 25,000 SEK (about 2,200 EUR) to put towards a trip. The University of Skövde in Sweden gives it to one bachelor's student each year who has stood out for strong results. The grant is handed over at the university's graduation ceremony in May, and the winner is told well in advance.

Who can apply

• University: You must be registered at the University of Skövde during the semester you apply.
• Study level: You are studying for a bachelor's degree.
• Grades: You have particularly excelled in your studies.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you are enrolled at the University of Skövde.

How to apply

You apply during an open call at the University of Skövde. In the last announced round the deadline was 31 March. A scholarship board picks the winner, and their decision is final. The university states there is no open call at the moment, so check for a current announcement before applying.

How realistic are your chances?

Only one student gets this grant each year, and it goes to someone with standout results, so you compete with the whole bachelor's student body. If your grades clearly set you apart and you apply as soon as a call opens, you have a genuine shot. The pool is limited to Skövde students, which keeps the field smaller than for national awards.
