What the V.C. Chamberlain Educational Trust gives you

For a full-time bachelor’s degree, you will receive a grant of bursary (a cash grant that helps cover study costs), payable for up to 12 months. The amount of the grant and the number of grants awarded vary from year to year and are therefore not fixed in advance. The funding comes from the V.C. Chamberlain Educational Trust, a registered charity based in Somerset, England.

Who can apply

• Age: You are 21 or older.
• Level: You are studying full-time to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. There are no restrictions based on place of residence or region.

How to apply

You should apply in writing directly to the foundation. There is no interview and no multi-stage selection process.

How realistic are your chances?

The scholarship is aimed at a small target group: older students aged 21 and over who are undertaking a full-time bachelor’s degree programme. The number of scholarships is small and varies from year to year. If you clearly meet this profile and apply directly, your chances are good. However, as the number of scholarships available is limited and changes annually, acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
