About this scholarship

Disabled Students Bursary at Goldsmiths

At Goldsmiths, University of London, you will receive about 3,450 EUR (£3,000) for each year of your undergraduate studies. The scholarship is renewed annually for the duration of your studies and does not need to be repaid. It is funded by Goldsmiths, which awards up to 6 per year group.

Who can apply

  • Disability: You have a recognised disability and have indicated this on your UCAS application. You do not need to upload any supporting documents; the university will contact you if it requires any.
  • Study level: You have received an offer of a place on a Bachelor’s degree programme at Goldsmiths for the period 2026–27 and have confirmed your acceptance of the place.
  • Field of study: All cupboards are open.
  • Fee status: You are considered a domestic (British) student rather than an international student.
  • Format: Your course will take place in person, not online.
  • Timing: You are a new student. If you are already studying at Goldsmiths, you can only apply if you are starting a separate new degree programme.
  • One award only: This scholarship cannot be held in conjunction with any other scholarship from Goldsmiths.

How to apply

Create a MyGoldsmiths account and apply via the online form on the scholarships page. The application period begins on 14 August 2026 and ends at midnight (GMT) on 16 October. First, a coordinator will check whether you meet the criteria. The Disability Team will then make the final decision based on financial need.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is very selective: only up to 6 scholarships are awarded per admissions round, and you must be a domestic undergraduate student with a proven disability who has been offered a place. As a result, the pool of applicants is smaller than for open scholarships, but the selection process is highly competitive and is based on need. If you clearly meet the criteria and apply in good time before the October deadline, your chances are good.
