About this scholarship
Mackinnon and Tavella Stewart Scholarships
You will receive a needs-based grant from Magdalen College, University of Oxford. There is no fixed amount. The College will assess your personal circumstances and determine an amount intended to help cover your costs. The award runs for one year to start with. It may be extended following a review. It is aimed at PhD students with significant research potential who have applied for other funding but have been unsuccessful.

- Research potential: You’ve got real potential in research.
- Financial need: You have applied for funding from other sources but have not received it.

- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
