About this scholarship

What you get

You get a one-off payment of up to about 1,150 EUR (1,000 GBP) when you start an Electronics or Robotics degree at the University of Plymouth in the UK. The amount depends on your A-level maths grades: about 575 EUR (500 GBP) for a grade A in A-level Mathematics, plus another 575 EUR (500 GBP) for a grade A in A-level Further Mathematics. The University of Plymouth pays it directly to you in your first term.

Who can apply

  • Degree: You are starting the first year (Stage 1) of an undergraduate degree.
  • Field of study: You study Electronics or Robotics.
  • University: You study at the University of Plymouth in the UK.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Grades: You have at least one grade A in A-level Mathematics. A second A in A-level Further Mathematics doubles the amount.

How to apply

There is no application form. You are considered automatically once you firmly accept your offer for an Electronics or Robotics degree. You must accept your place by 1 August.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is narrowly cut. You need a place on a specific Electronics or Robotics degree at one university, plus top maths grades. If you meet those conditions there is no competition, because every eligible new student is paid automatically. Your only task is to hit the A-level grades and accept your place before the deadline.
