General Description
Foss Ireland Ltd awards an annual prize at the University of College Cork. The Foss Prize is available to a final year BSc Food Science or Food Technology major. The prize consists of a medal, certificate, and a bursary. This is to assist the recipient to attend a suitable study tour or conference. To be eligible the student must obtain an honors standard in the final examination. The student must then submit a written proposal that documents a possible novel application of Foss instrumentation in Food Analysis or Food Product Development. The proposals are judged and the winner will receive the prize.
Requirements
To be applicable the student must be a full time student at University College Cork. The student must be in their final year. The student must be majoring in BSc Food Science or Food Technology. The student must receive an honors standard on the final examination. The student will be required to submit a written proposal that documents a possible novel application of Foss instrumentation in Food Analysis or Food Product Development.
