Louis Bonduelle Research Award

For outstanding research achievements in the field of nutrition and eating behaviour, you will receive a one-off prize of 10,000 EUR. You will also be publicly recognised at the Foundation’s annual conference. The prize is awarded by the Louis Bonduelle Foundation, a charitable organisation affiliated with the food group Bonduelle. The call for applications is open to candidates from all over the world.

Who can apply

• Age: You are 35 years old.
• Where you study: You are enrolled at a university or other higher education institution.
• Field of study: Your research focuses on nutrition or eating behaviour. The specific field of study is irrelevant – for example, medicine, physiology, sociology or agricultural science.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via an online form by 7 November. The winner will be announced the following spring at the Foundation’s annual conference.

How realistic are your chances?

This is a single prize awarded once a year to one researcher; consequently, competition is very fierce and attracts entries from all over the world. Well-founded, widely published research in the field of nutritional science stands out in particular. If your work focuses on nutrition and you are under 35 and enrolled, it is worth taking part – but please regard selection as a slim chance rather than a foregone conclusion.
