CONCAPA Scholarships at CEU Cardenal Herrera

For every bachelor’s degree programme at the private Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, Spain, you will receive your full first year of tuition covered (100% fee waiver). The university awards 50 of these scholarships each year. The fee waiver may be renewed in subsequent years provided you maintain a grade point average of at least 7 out of 10 and enrol for at least 60 ECTS credits per year. You will also be guaranteed a place through the standard admissions process, provided that places are available and you apply in good time. The scholarships are funded under an agreement between the university and CONCAPA-CV, a parents’ association at Valencian schools.

Who can apply

• Your school: You attend a school that is a member of CONCAPA-CV (the Valencian Parents’ Association).
• Degree: You are starting a Bachelor’s degree (Grado). Vocational training programmes (Ciclos Formativos) are not taken into account.
• Field of study: Any subject is acceptable. A separate admissions procedure applies to the degree programme in medicine.
• Grades: In both years of the Bachillerato – the last two years of secondary school before university – you achieved an average of at least 9 out of 10 (Sobresaliente or Matrícula de Honor).
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• Admission: You will meet the statutory entry requirements for your degree programme provided you enrol and a place is available.

How to apply

Please apply by 31 May. You must provide proof of your membership of CONCAPA-CV (or of the affiliated FCAPA, if you are applying through that organisation), which you should apply for through your own association. You must also begin the standard admissions procedure at the university.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is strictly limited: you must be from a CONCAPA member school and have an outstanding Bachillerato average of 9 out of 10 or higher, meaning that only a few will qualify. If you clearly meet these criteria and apply before 31 May, you stand a good chance of securing one of the 50 places. The high grade requirement is the actual selection criterion, not the size of the applicant pool.
