Pompeu Fabra University/Santander Universities - Aurora Bertrana Scholarships

Benefit

You will receive 1,000 EUR as a one-off grant to cover the additional costs of studying in the United States or Canada. The funding is provided by Santander Universidades (Banco Santander). Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona ran the programme and awarded up to 50 grants per round.

Eligibility

• University: You are studying at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona.
• Where you go: You are travelling to the United States or Canada to study.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are enrolled at the UPF.

How realistic are your chances?

As only UPF students travelling to the USA or Canada were eligible to apply, the pool of eligible candidates remained small. With up to 50 scholarships available per round, a suitable applicant stood a good chance of success. The last documented round took place in 2016, so it is unclear whether the programme is still running.
