About this scholarship

What you get from Becas Nova

You receive 2,000 EUR per scholarship, paid in two parts: 500 EUR when results are announced (between December 2026 and mid-January 2027) and 1,500 EUR once you finish all the programme activities (between July and August 2027). Beyond the money you join a career programme run by the Fundación Privada Prevent. It includes coaching, CV feedback, seminars on networking, LinkedIn and personal branding, one-to-one advice from a consultant, and a speed job-dating event with employers. The award is tax-free and you can combine it with other public or private funding. For the 2026/2027 round, 50 scholarships are on offer.

Who can apply

  • Disability: You have a disability of at least 33% certified in Spain, or a recognised partial or total permanent incapacity for your usual profession.
  • Study level: You are in the final year of a higher vocational training course (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior), the final year of a bachelor's degree (Grado) at a Spanish university, or an official master's or postgraduate course at a Spanish university.
  • Age: You were born in 1997 or later.
  • Nationality: You are a Spanish national or you have an EU residence right.
  • Where you live: You live in Catalonia or the Community of Madrid throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.
  • Availability: You can travel to the Fundación Prevent office and take part in group and individual activities, in person and online.
  • Previous awards: You have received this scholarship at most once before. A third time is not possible.

How to apply

Apply online through the form on the Fundación Prevent website, the only accepted channel, between 1 September 2026 (12:00) and 19 October 2026 (14:00). You must also attend a compulsory interview, in person or online, by 21 October 2026. Selection weighs your academic record at 40% and your employability and fit for the programme at 60%. Results are sent by email from 20 November 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is cut narrowly. You must have a certified disability, study at a specific level in Spain, live in Catalonia or Madrid, and be born in 1997 or later. That keeps the eligible group small, and 50 scholarships are shared among it. Only 40% of the score is your grades. Most of it comes from the interview and your career motivation, so a clear professional goal matters as much as marks. If you clearly meet the conditions and prepare your interview well, your prospects are solid.
