About this scholarship

Traineeship at the Galician Directorate of Commerce and Consumer Affairs

For an internship lasting up to 7 months, you will receive about 1,200 EUR per month, which amounts to approximately 8,400 EUR in total. You will work in the mornings at the offices of the Dirección Xeral de Comercio e Consumo in Santiago de Compostela. A designated mentor will support you throughout the entire period. The training covers commercial activities, the analysis of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the retail and distribution sectors, and may also extend to the skilled trades. The aim is to complement your studies with practical experience and to help you enter the labour market. You will be covered by social security, and the grant is exempt from income tax. The programme is organised by the Consellería de Emprego, Comercio e Emigración of the Xunta de Galicia, the regional government of Galicia.
