Doctoral grants at the University of Salamanca

You will receive 1,500 EUR for one year to cover your living and study costs whilst you work on your PhD thesis. The scholarship is awarded by the University of Salamanca, one of the oldest universities in Spain.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are a PhD student, which means you are working on your PhD.
• University: You’re studying at the University of Salamanca.
• Field of study: All participants are eligible to take part.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Apply to the University of Salamanca by 31 October.

How realistic are your chances?

As only PhD students who are already enrolled at Salamanca are eligible to apply, the pool of applicants is smaller than for open scholarships. If you are enrolled there and can demonstrate a well-founded research project, your chances are good. Make sure you apply before the deadline in October.
