UIC Barcelona - Banco Santander Scholarship

You receive a one-off grant of 1,000 EUR per academic year that reduces your tuition at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona). The money comes from a partnership between UIC Barcelona and Banco Santander. You can renew the grant each year, but you must reapply and still meet all conditions.

Who can apply

• Degree: You study a bachelor's degree (Grado) at UIC Barcelona. All programmes at the university qualify.
• Age: You are under 25 years old.
• Financial need: You can show that you need financial support.
• Grades (first year): You scored at least 5 points in the university entrance exam (PAU general phase), in your higher vocational training certificate (CFGS), or in another admission test.
• Grades (later years): You passed all the credits you enrolled in last year. A missed exam counts as a fail.
• No prior degree: You do not already hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, and you do not yet meet the requirements to be awarded one.
• Where you study: You study in Spain, at UIC Barcelona.

How to apply

You apply through the Banco Santander Scholarships platform and submit the application form with up-to-date documents. The UIC Barcelona Grants and Financial Aid Commission reviews and approves applications. For the current cycle, the window runs from 21 April 2026 to 7 October 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

Only UIC Barcelona students under 25 with financial need and solid grades can apply, so the eligible group is fairly narrow. If you clearly meet those conditions and can document your need, your prospects are reasonable. The number of grants is limited, so apply early in the window.
