Language course grant at Pablo de Olavide University

You will receive part or all of your course fee covered for a one-year language course (90 hours) at the Language Service (Servicio de Idiomas) of Pablo de Olavide University in Seville. This is a grant towards the course fees, not a monthly cash payment. You will first pay a registration fee of 111.11 EUR. Once the final decision has been made, you will either pay the remaining amount or receive a refund, depending on what proportion of the fee the grant covers. The grant is valid for one academic year. The university awards it through its Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation.

Who can apply

• University: You’re studying at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville.
• Degree level: You are enrolled on a bachelor’s or double bachelor’s degree programme (Grado or Doble Grado).
• Course: You would like to take part in one of the annual language courses (90 hours) offered by the University’s Language Service.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the university’s online portal (Instancia Generica) using the form provided in the official call for applications (Convocatoria). The application deadline is 30 September. Please apply before you enrol on the course, as you will need to provide proof of your application when you enrol.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is open exclusively to Bachelor’s students at a university in Seville who are taking the university’s own language courses; the target group is therefore naturally small. If you are already studying there and would like to take an annual language course, you clearly fit the profile and have good prospects. You simply pay the registration fee of 111.11 EUR and settle the remaining amount once the decision has been made, so there is little risk in applying.
