French Ministry of Higher Education and Research/CNOUS - Scholarships for Higher Education

General Description

The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research offers higher education grants based on social criteria. These grants will consist of a monthly stipend of up to 550 Euro (the exact amount is established according to a set of guidelines and income thresholds dependent on household size and other factors) paid throughout the academic year.

Requirements

This funding scheme is intended to support students whose family income is lower than the threshold set for the student´s household size and other relevant circumstances. Applicants must be citizens of France, citizens of Andorra educated according to the French system or permanent residents of France; the upper age limit is set at 28 years.
