HEC Paris MBA Forté Foundation scholarship

You will receive a one-off scholarship of up to 26,000 EUR to cover the tuition fees for the HEC Paris MBA, a 16-month full-time programme. The amount will be deducted from your final tuition fee payment. The scholarship is awarded exclusively to women and is the result of a partnership between HEC Paris and the Forté Foundation, a US-based non-profit organisation that supports women in business. Should you also receive other HEC scholarships (Excellence, ARD or Paris Saclay), their combined value must not exceed 50% of the total tuition fees. In the case of a dual degree, the amount will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

Who can apply

• Women only: The scholarship is reserved for female MBA applicants.
• Admission first: You have already been admitted to the MBA programme at HEC Paris. Only admitted applicants will be considered.
• Field: You are studying for an MBA in Business Administration at HEC Paris.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
• Leadership record: You have demonstrated strong leadership qualities through your academic results, your teamwork, your community involvement or your creative activities.
• Support for women: You have helped other women, for example through mentoring (guidance and advice) or through voluntary work.
• No large sponsor: Your employer or the state will cover up to 50% of your tuition fees.

How to apply

Write an essay of 1,500 words explaining why you, in particular, should be selected as a Forté Scholar at HEC Paris. Submit this together with your MBA application, not afterwards. The selection committee will assess your essay, your academic background, your GMAT result and two interviews with former students. You will be notified of the decision approximately one week after your admission to the programme.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is aimed at a very select group: exclusively women who have already been admitted to a selective MBA programme and who can demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to supporting other women. As a result, the pool of applicants is small compared to open scholarships. If you clearly meet the eligibility criteria and submit a compelling essay alongside your application by the deadline, your chances are good.
