Excellence Scholarships at École Polytechnique (MSc&T)

You get 8,000 EUR per year towards your two-year Master of Science & Technology (MSc&T) at École Polytechnique near Paris. The money is deducted from your tuition fees. You get the second year's payment once you have passed your first Master year. The scholarship is funded by the Fondation de l'École Polytechnique.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are admitted to one of the MSc&T Master programmes at École Polytechnique. All specialisations qualify.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Grades: Selection rewards strong academic results.
• Background: The foundation also considers the mix of backgrounds among its scholars, and may look at your financial situation as one factor.

How to apply

There is no separate application and no extra documents. Every admitted MSc&T candidate is considered automatically. The decision follows your admission interview, and you hear the result by email after your admission and before the confirmation deadline. Applying in the first or second admission round improves your chances, because those applicants are prioritised.

How realistic are your chances?

Only students already admitted to École Polytechnique compete for this scholarship, so the group is small. You are considered automatically, so there is no extra effort. Places are limited and go first to early-round applicants. If your grades are strong and you apply in the first or second round, your prospects are good.
