Rotary Club Dijon Bourgogne scholarship

You will receive a grant of one-off payment of up to 800 EUR for a personal project that you would like to carry out. The money comes from the Rotary Club of Dijon Bourgogne in France. It can be used for almost any kind of project: humanitarian, social, scientific, technical, artistic, literary or practical initiatives. Your project may also take place abroad. You will receive the grant as a one-off payment once you have provided evidence that your project has commenced.

Who can apply

• Age: You are 28 years old.
• Family: You are not the child of a Rotary member.
• Status: You are a school pupil, an apprentice, an intern or in employment. You do not need a university degree.
• Field: Any subject area is acceptable, but you must have a clear project with a precisely defined objective.
• Budget: You must submit a detailed financial plan setting out your expenditure and income.
• Start date: Your project will begin after 1 March 2026.
• Going abroad: If your project is taking place abroad, you must have written confirmation from your local hosts.
• Compulsory internships: If the project is a compulsory work placement as part of your degree course, it will only count towards your degree if you would otherwise be unable to afford to take part in it.

How to apply

Please compile your documents into a single PDF file and email it to the association by midnight on 23 November 2025. If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview on 9 December 2025. The results will be announced in early January 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

This is a small, local award linked to a Rotary Club and a narrowly defined target group: people under 28 years of age with a specific, well-thought-out project. As the grant amount is modest, there are fewer applicants than for a full scholarship. If you can present a clearly defined project with a balanced budget and a convincing statement of purpose, your chances are good.
