Benefit

You can get up to 1,000 EUR for your own project. While you prepare it, staff from the youth service of the City of Grenoble (Ville de Grenoble) give you personal guidance. The fund, called Fond Initiative Jeunesse (FIJ), supports projects in your neighbourhood, across the city or abroad. These can be a trip, an adventure or an intercultural exchange that helps you grow and become more independent. Projects in sport, culture or starting a business that benefits others can also be funded.

Eligibility

• Age: You are between 16 and 25 years old.
• Where you live: You live in Grenoble.
• Your project: You have a personal project or initiative you want to carry out.
• Studies: You can apply whether or not you are a student, from any field or background.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Fill in the application form and hand it in with the requested documents at the city's youth service. Staff there help you prepare your project until you present it to a jury. City councillors then vote on whether you get the money.
