Excellence Scholarship of the Toulouse Law School

You get a one-off payment of 500 EUR, paid in December. The Ecole de Droit (Law School) of Toulouse 1 University Capitole awards 10 of these scholarships each year: 5 for master's students and 5 for third-year bachelor students. Selection is based only on your grades. Your financial situation does not matter.

Who can apply

• University: You are enrolled at the Ecole de Droit de Toulouse (the law faculty of UT Capitole).
• Field of study: Law.
• Study level: You are in the third bachelor year (Licence 3) or in a master's programme. First- and second-year bachelor students cannot apply.
• Grades: For 2025/2026 you need a yearly average of at least 14 out of 20.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply. If you are not French, you must have lived in France for at least one year.

How to apply

You send your completed application by post only, to the Ecole de Droit de Toulouse. The 2025/2026 window runs from 9 September to 13 October 2025, and the postmark counts. You can also apply for the separate Bourse de Reussite at the same time, but you need a second, separate application for it.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is narrow: only law students at one Toulouse faculty in their Licence 3 or master's year qualify, so the applicant pool is small. With 10 places each year and grades as the only criterion, your prospects are good if your yearly average clearly beats 14/20. Send your application complete, because incomplete ones are rejected automatically.
