About this scholarship
Benefit
You will receive up to approximately 1,150 EUR per year (£1,000) for a full-time bachelor’s degree at the University of Derby, which will be funded for the entire duration of your studies. The amount depends on your household income: approximately 1,150 euros (£1,000) per year if your household earns up to £25,000,, or approximately 690 euros (£600) per year if it is between £25,001 and £36,592.. A small portion (£100) is paid as a ‘Resource Card’ for study materials, with the remainder paid in cash in three instalments. The University of Derby awards this grant to students transferring from Buxton and Leek College to a degree programme.
Eligibility
- Where you studied before: You have obtained a qualification from Buxton and Leek College within the last three years.
- Degree: You are enrolled on a full-time Bachelor’s degree programme at the University of Derby at its Derby, Buxton or Chesterfield campuses.
- Tuition fees: You pay the standard tuition fees (£9,250 per year at that time).
- Field of study: Any subject.
- Financial need: Your household income is £36,592 or less.
How to apply
No separate application is required. The university will automatically assess your eligibility based on the household income data provided by Student Finance England.
