University of Sunderland - Sunderland Excellence Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive about 2,300 EUR in cash (£2,000), spread over your first two years of study. This amounts to approximately 1,150 EUR (£1,000) in the first year and the same amount in the second year. The University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom awarded this grant to new full-time undergraduates who had started their degree with very good exam results. There was no limit on the number of recipients: anyone who met the criteria received the grant.

Eligibility

• Level: You are a new full-time undergraduate student starting your first degree at the University of Sunderland. Some students on preparatory courses at partner universities are also eligible.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Where you're from: You are a student from the UK (‘domestic’) or from another EU country. ‘Domestic’ means that you have lived in the UK for the three years prior to the start of your studies.
• Grades: You must have A-levels at ABB or an equivalent qualification. Only your three best A-levels will be taken into account. AS-levels are not included in the total score, and ‘General Studies’ is not recognised.
