About this scholarship

What you get

This scholarship paid the tuition fees for the fourth year of an Integrated Masters (MEng or MSci) at the University of Manchester. UK and EU students had their full fourth-year fees paid. International students got a contribution towards their fees. Scholars also joined a one-day trip to a BP site and other BP events. In 2011, 100 awards were announced, worth about EUR 400,000 in total (GBP 345,000). The money came from BP, the energy company, which funded engineering and science students at Manchester from 2007 onwards.
