About this scholarship

What you get

This Spanish non-profit does not run a classic scholarship. There is no monthly grant for university students and no open call for study funding.

What it does offer is one training programme called "beca" (grant). It runs the #EfectoSolidaridad campaign with the education company Northius. Together they give out 20 vocational training places so people can take a job-focused course. You do not apply for these openly. They are handed out through the foundation's social-inclusion programme.

The foundation also co-runs several postgraduate courses in cultural heritage. These are paid programmes, not scholarships. You pay the tuition and no funding is attached:

  • Master in Skills for Cultural Heritage Management, with the University of Valladolid.
  • Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage, with the UNED distance university.
  • Master in Integrated Management of Buildings and Services in Architectural Heritage, with the University of Alcalá.

Who can apply

  • The training places: You are unemployed and socially disadvantaged. You cannot apply directly; places are assigned through the social-inclusion programme.
  • The courses: You want to work in cultural heritage conservation or management, and you can pay the tuition yourself.

How realistic are your chances?

If you are looking for a scholarship to fund your studies, this foundation is not the right place. It offers only 20 training places, and those go through a social-inclusion programme rather than an open call. The heritage courses are open to anyone who pays, but they are not funded.
