Esade MSc Excellence Awards

You get a merit-based discount on your tuition fees at Esade Business School in Barcelona, covering 10% to 50% of the MSc tuition fee. Last year the average award was 26% of tuition. As a guide, a one-year MSc costs 39,000 EUR (2027/2028) and a Global Master's 43,200 EUR, so an average award saves you roughly 10,000 EUR. Esade funds these awards from its own budget and from alumni donations. They reward talent only, so you do not need to prove financial need. Several named awards exist, and you can apply for one of them. An Excellence Award cannot be combined with any other Esade prize or scholarship.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are applying to an Esade MSc (Master of Science) programme and are not yet enrolled.
• Grades: You have outstanding academic results. Strong GMAT or GRE test scores count in your favour.
• Financial need: Not required. These awards go on merit alone.
• Field and profile: Some awards are open to any MSc applicant. Others are tied to a specific programme (for example Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics or Sustainability Management) or to a specific profile (for example a region, or the Women in Management Award, open only to women).
• Nationality: Most awards are open to all nationalities. A few are limited to a specific world region.

How to apply

You apply as part of your MSc admissions application and choose one award from the list. Depending on the award, you may need an essay or up to two documents proving academic honours. The deadline for the 2026 intake is 15 July 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

These are partial discounts rather than full scholarships, and every applicant competes on academic merit. So strong grades and test scores are essential. Because each named award targets a narrow group (a specific programme, region or profile), picking the one that fits you best puts you in a smaller pool. If you clearly stand out academically and match a specific award's focus, your prospects are solid.
