Becas UA para matricula de Grado (Ayuda de matricula para estudios de Grado)

What you get

You get a grant that covers 75% of your public tuition fees, up to 1,000 EUR per academic year, at the University of Alicante (UA). The money goes straight into the bank account you name in your application. It covers the credits you enrol in for the 2025-2026 year, and it is aimed at first enrolment (the first time you take a subject). You still pay your tuition yourself; the grant is worked out and paid separately. It runs for one year only, so you must reapply each year. The university pays it from its own budget, with a total pot of up to 250,000 EUR for this round.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are enrolled in an official Bachelor's degree (Grado) at the University of Alicante or one of its affiliated centres.
• Field of study: Any Bachelor subject.
• Nationality: You are Spanish or a citizen of another EU country. Non-EU citizens can also apply if they meet Spain's rules on the rights of foreign residents.
• Course load: You enrol in at least 48 ECTS credits (the standard measure of study workload). If you have fewer credits left before finishing, this can be waived once.
• Grades (returning students): If you are not a first-year, your average last year must be at least 3.4 points in engineering and architecture, or 4.25 in all other fields.
• Pass rate (returning students): You must have passed at least 50% of your credits in engineering, architecture and sciences, 60% in health sciences, or 70% in all other fields.
• Financial need: Your family income and assets must stay within the limits set by the Generalitat Valenciana's annual student-grant call.
• No equal degree: You do not already hold a degree at the same or a higher level.

How to apply

You apply online only, through UACloud (eAdministración, then Académicos, then Solicitud de Becas). For the 2025-2026 round the window runs from 10 March to 1 April 2026. There is no interview. Applicants who meet the requirements are ranked by grade average, and the grant is awarded on that basis until the money runs out.

How realistic are your chances?

This grant is limited to UA Bachelor students who meet clear income and academic thresholds, so the eligible group is narrower than an open scholarship. But UA is a large campus and the pot is fixed. Because places are ranked by grades and awarded until the money runs out, strong results and staying within the income limits matter most. If you clearly fit the criteria and apply within the window, your prospects are solid.
