General Description

The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund offers loans to medical students and their dependants facing financial hardship due to unforeseen difficult circumstances. The amount of each loan is set according to an individual’s needs.

Requirements

This loan scheme is open to students registered on a course at a medical school in the UK who find themselves to be in exceptional hardship as a result of unexpected factors outside their control due to age, ill health, disability or bereavement and, having exhausted all other sources of financial support that are available to them, are at serious risk of failing to qualify as a result of the financial pressures they face.
